The cellar walls have been stripped, cleaned, etched, primed, patched with hydraulic cement, and painted with several coats of "dry-lock" block sealer. The area where the walls and the new floor meet has been sealed with a silicone product to allow expansion and contraction and prevent any water entry.
A foundation crack necessitated digging a hole 8' deep for access to make a repair.
Large stones uncovered were used to extend the stone boundary walls. Drainage of rainwater has been re-directed away from the foundation with the use of buried plastic sheeting. Future work in the cellar will be replacement of old wood windows with windows which will never rot, and a new ceiling, work benches will be built as well as storage shelving. Several walls will be built to form rooms which will be used for different purposes.
Work is progressing on the downstairs guest room. Sheetrock has been torn out, insulation updated and replaced, new walls built and window trim installed.

Kitchen refrigerator has been swapped out and appliances are all plumbed and working. I now have ice and a dishwasher! counter tops and flooring still to happen.
